White Wine Citrus Sangria

We recently had a taco party at our house and I think a batch of sangria is a fun accompaniment. We visited Wollershime Winery this weekend and they had a special on a mild white wine which they had marketed as a “Christmas” wine, so I used that with several citrus fruits and some ginger ale. I mostly used citrus because that is what looked good at our local grocery store. I think sangria is best if you can make it the morning of or even the day before to give the flavors time to blend, but I add the soda just before serving which makes it a fun and fizzy drink!

  • 1 bottle mild white wine
  • 2 oranges sliced
  • 2 lemons sliced
  • 2 oz bourbon
  • 2 cans ginger ale

Mix the wine, fruit, and bourbon in pitcher either the day before or the morning you would like to serve the sangria. Just before serving add the ginger ale. I also used orange slices from the sangria to garnish the drink.
